What equipment is included in my studio hire?
Every booking includes broadcast‑quality microphones, high‑resolution 4K cameras (multi‑cam setup), studio-grade lighting, and adjustable mic arms, along with high-speed Wi-Fi and optional live stream support.
No technical experience needed! You’ll get an on-site engineer with every booking, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Sit down, relax and start podcasting!
We can accommodate up to 4 people with broadcast microphones, layouts can be reorganised from comfy single sofa seats to a larger table with stools, or a single setup for solo shows.
For our standard video package, you must bring a USB-C 3.2 SSD to record your footage to. (Cloud download can be purchased extra for the standard Video package. For Video+ & Memberships, your content will be uploaded and shared via cloud transfer within 48 hours after your session. You’ll receive all audio tracks in separate WAV/MP3 and video in H.264/MP4 format.
 
For Video+ & Memberships, if you choose to record your episode directly to an SSD, this will be limited to 1080P. Our technician will transfer your Audio to this device as well.
 
*We can transfer 4K Raw files directly to SSD, but this must be done during booking time. Est 5-10 mins for transfer.
Absolutely! We support livestreaming (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook) and can bring in guests remotely via platforms like Zoom. Just let us know in advance.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, just let us know at least 7 days in advance and we’ll offer a full credit or reschedule at no extra cost. For changes made with less than 7 days’ notice, a partial credit may still be available depending on the circumstances. Reach out to our team and we’ll do our best to help.
Yes! We’re a small studio, but you’re welcome to bring your own videographers or extra gear. Just let us know in advance so we can accommodate any setup needs, confirm the required space, and avoid overlap with other bookings.
 
We have room for 2 guests to watch, excluding recording guests. However, our building has a full canteen, WIFI, Gym/showers & a private meeting space available at no extra cost if needed. Just let us know after placing your booking. *space not guaranteed
Yes — we’re just minutes from Manchester Piccadilly Station, and we have onsite guest parking and options nearby. You’ll get full directions and access details in your confirmation email.
We do! Post-production is handled by our dedicated creative team at Shortcut Media, who offer audio cleanup, video editing, graphics, and full post-production. We are separate companies but run as a team!
